Peperomia dolabriformis

  • Description
  • Light/Soil/Water
  • Hardiness
  • Peperomia dolabriformis is a compact, eye-catching plant with thick, lime green leaves shaped like small pea pods. Each leaf looks folded in half, with a darker, translucent strip on top that gives the plant a unique and sculptural appearance. The leaves grow closely together, forming dense, tidy clusters.

This plant grows slowly and keeps a low, compact form. Over time, it fills out into a fuller clump rather than growing tall, making it well suited for pots and indoor displays.

  •  Filtered / Partial Sun, Low Indoor Light.
Gritty, well-draining soil is essential. Use a cactus and succulent mix with 50%-75% mineral grit such as coarse sand, pumice, or perlite.

Water infrequently. Allow soil to dry out completely between waterings. Avoid letting water sit in the rosette to prevent rot.
