Echeveria 'Moonshine'

  • Description
  • Light/Soil/Water
  • Hardiness
  • Echeveria ‘Moonshine’ forms a clean, symmetrical rosette with cool mint-green leaves and bright red edges. The leaves are thick and smooth, with a soft, waxy surface that gives the plant a glowing, almost frosted look. The strong contrast between the pale center and colorful tips makes the rosette look modern and sculptural.

This plant grows steadily and keeps a compact shape as it matures. Over time, it can produce small offsets, often called “chicks,” around the base of the main rosette. These offsets allow the plant to slowly form a tidy cluster.

  •  Bright Indoor Light, Filtered / Partial Sun.
Gritty, well-draining soil is essential. Use a cactus and succulent mix with 50%-75% mineral grit such as coarse sand, pumice, or perlite.

Water infrequently. Allow soil to dry out completely between waterings. Avoid letting water sit in the rosette to prevent rot.
