  • Chick Charmlettes Princess Polly forms small, compact rosettes with soft green leaves often touched with pink to rosy tones, especially in bright sunlight. The neat, symmetrical shape and gentle color make it a charming choice for small containers, rock gardens, or mixed succulent arrangements.                                                                                                                                                                 
    This variety grows actively in spring and summer and produces many small offsets, often called “chicks,” on short stolons. Over time these form a dense cluster of rosettes. It grows best outdoors in full sun with gritty, well-draining soil, where the offsets can be left to create a tidy mat or separated and replanted to grow new plants.

    Gritty, well-draining soil is essential. Use a cactus and succulent mix with 70%-80% mineral grit such as coarse sand, pumice, or perlite.

    Water infrequently. Allow soil to dry out completely between waterings. Avoid letting water sit in the rosette to prevent rot.
