Haworthia 'Broteriana'

  • Description
  • Light/Soil/Water
  • Hardiness
  • Haworthiopsis ‘Broteriana’ is a taller, branching Haworthia with a strong, upright form. The thick, stout leaves grow in stacked rows along the stems and show a clear lime green base color. Across the outer leaf surfaces, raised green tubercles line up in horizontal bands, creating a bold, textured pattern that is easy to see even from a distance.

In brighter light, the leaf tips gradually take on a rusty red tone, adding contrast to the fresh green body of the plant. Over time, the plant produces multiple offsets at its base and along the stems, forming a compact yet structured cluster with clearly defined shapes and surfaces.

  • Filtered / Partial Sun, Low Indoor Light.
Gritty, well-draining soil is essential. Use a cactus and succulent mix with 50%-70% mineral grit such as coarse sand, pumice, or perlite.

Water infrequently. Allow soil to dry out completely between waterings. Avoid letting water sit in the rosette to prevent rot.

Non-toxic to dogs, cats, and horses (Pet-friendly).
